Re: A question on making comfrey tea

Hello, MH and anybody else who would like to answer who has had the experience.

I've read about using fresh comfrey leaves to make a pack for the OUTSIDE of the body.
ALL MODERN DAY USE OF COMFREY IS ALWAYS GOING TO BE "EXTERNAL" UE ONLY....DR. CHRISTOPHER MADE IT TOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FAMOUS AS THE BEST CALCIUM SOURCE AND ITS REPUTATION FOR BROKEN BONES HAS MADE IT ON THE BAD LIST OF THE DOCTORS THAT DO NOT LIKE COMPETITIVE HERBS.

One fourth a cup of fresh leaves, but I'm not sure how strong to make it. Or if that matters.
EXTERNAL OU CAN BATH IN IT, AS A TEA I DON'T THINK I WOULD WORRY ABOUT IT.

Also read another recipie that says to use a TBSP of dry comfrey leaves to use as a tea.
DRY LEAVES ARE ALWAYS NORMALLY USED TO MAKE ANY TYPE OF DRINKING TEA.

I am using this and the BF&C capsules to help heal up some neck discs along with chiropractic treatment that keeps the vertebrae aligned. With all the work I've done trying to get my body clean, I should be able to do this without many problems. I've had degenerative disc disease in the past.
DRY COMFREY ROOT POWDER WOULD BE THE BEST INTERNAL SOURCE OF CALCIUM AND BEST WHEN BLENDED, SUCH AS CHRISTOPHER'S OLD BF&C AND CALCIUM FORMULAS....USING THE LEAF IS SOMETHING THAT CAME ABOUT IN RECENT YEARS. OTHERWISE GARDENERS USE THE LEAVES AS FERTILIZER ON THEIR ORGANIC GARDENS.

Do I have to dry the leaves to make a tea?
WOULD BE BEST, WOULD BE SAFEST....
SPRING TIME LEAVES ARE VERY POTENT AND SHOULD BE AVOIDED BY ANYONE WITH A POOR LIVER OR THAT HAS USED DRUGS, OTHERWISE HEALTHY PEOPLE CAN USE IT, BUT ALWAYS SELF-EXPERIMENTAL.

I PERSONALLY ONLY USE THE SPRING TIME PLANT, BUT ALL INFO IS GOING TO WARN THE COMMON PERSON TO NEVER USE THE PLANT INTERNALLY AND NEVER THE SPRING TIME PARTS.

I know not all herbs are alike. Some do have to be dried and aged. Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question. I'm asking it anyway. ;-)))
FRESH IS BEST
DRY IS SAFEST
TEA IS COOKED AND EXTREMELY SAFE, BECAUSE BADHERBS, TASTE BAD AND PEOPLE CAN'T DRINK ENOUGH TO HURT THEM SELVES...THEY WOULD PUKE FIRST.

I've got comfrey growing on the property
EXTREMELY RARE TO EVER FIND A WILD PLANT, SO ODDS ARE IT WAS PLANTED ONCE UPON A TIME.

MH
