congrats on your desire to improve your health by fasting, however, you need to realize that fasting is not gonna be the solution for you excess weight problem for the simple reason that you cant fast forever, at some point you have to comeback to eating again

the human body is a very efficient machine, and a relative excess of calories/day will add up quickly resulting in fat gain.

now when you resume eating, you NEED to do the following or you will be fat for a very long period of time

1. switch h to LOW CALORIE HIGH VOLUME FOODS(fibrous veggies/MODERATE amounts of fruit/legumes)
2.lean meats and stay away from liquid calories, except from maybe milk)

have you ever heard somebody getting fat on chicken breast and broccoli? is not gonna happen

I will recommend also start lifting weights to increase LEAN BODY MASS(muscle)the more muscle you have on your frame the more calories you will be allow to eat without gaining fat mass plus other benefits like increased insulin sensitivity, stronger/healthier bones, and you will look alot better either male or female

Do your fast, Im sure it will help you immensely reseting your hunger/compulsing eating issues

but AFTER the fast you need to change your whole way to approach food, by eating SMART, remember LOW CALORIES HIGH VOLUME FOODS so you can fill your belly without destroying your calorie budget
