Goodness knows, we just want you to feel better :) You gave another clue -- pale gums and pale inside lip. That points to iron deficiency. Iron influences how thyroid hormones are both made and used in the body. I've had iron battles myself, so I'd be very reluctant to recommend taking iron supplements without testing, such as serum iron, total iron binding capacity and/or % saturation, and serum ferritin. Alternatively, if you can handle liver, you might eat some and see if that gives you a boost. Just be careful not to overdo it due to the high amount of Vit A it has. I remember reading in Adele Davis years ago about a man who ate liver once a day to return himself to health. I did not do it myself, but it worked for him.
