I never measure anything... so I cannot give you specifics.
You can roast over an open fire all but the cilantro before blending and cooking for a different taste that most people seem to prefer... or throw it all in a vitamix and simmer it on low heat for a while - which my wife prefers as it tends to be a bit more versatile.
Coat the inside of the pan with olive oil before simmering the *sauce*. Again, low heat... good things take time.
