Re: TIP #4 by TJ
If you've got severe candida and you want to starve it out*, then yes you would need a week off work.
*You will never fully starve it out though, I suspect there will always be a small amount left over, and thats why Im going to take massive amounts of probiotics, hopefully those friendly bacteria will crowd out the remaining small amount of candida.
I'll tell you about my experience about 15 years ago when I starved the candida, eating only meat and a few potatos each day (some people say you shouldnt eat potatos at all, well I've got a very bad case of candida, and those few potatos a day didnt seem to feed the candida very much at all, as you will read further in this post).
But yes, 15 years ago, I went from a mild case of candida, which I've had all my life, to a severe form of candida. I had hives all over my face, all kinds of symptoms like not being able to breath properly, all the symptoms everyone with candida knows.
I was in such a bad state, but somehow I knew it was
Sugar related, so one day I just decided to stop eating everything apart from meat and those few potatos, and this is how it went..
DAY 1 - No problems.
DAY 2 - starting to crave carbs and sugar, hungry, etc, starting to get a little tired and weak.
DAY 3 - Very tired, very weak. Because I wasnt getting any energy from carbs or sugar. Bloated intestinal area would begin 'popping', it feels like (very )small explosions, or like small cramps, Its difficult to describe but I believe this was the candida dying-off from not getting any carbs/sugar.
DAY 4 - The Candida toxins had a bad effect on my body. The tens of symptoms, everything from not being able to breathe properly, to weak muscles, bad vision. Also the mental symptoms brain fog etc, all the physical and mental symptoms get worse. Bad nightmares around this day too.
DAY 5 - Same as day 4, BUT, toward the very end of the day, I would start feeling a little better (still bad, but slightly better). You think to yourself, "Well that was bad, but hopefully its over now..."
Wrong. Next comes day 6...
DAY 6 - All the symptoms mental and physical get even worse than they were before, and its almost unbearable, and you've got that for the whole day. The candida toxins seem to come through the skin, because I got bright red rahes on my face and skin on my body. At this stage its absolutely terrible. Im not just saying it, it truly is absolutely terrible. Your whole body is toxic as hell. The good news is, if you can last out (which I only did on a couple of ocassions), you make it to day 7.
DAY 7 - You find god. Thats the best way I can describe the feeling. And everything has changed. All candida symptoms have gone. My whole face changed, I went from looking like a heroin addict with dark circles under the eyes, to glowing. My head felt 'sharp', eyesight pin-point. My previously pea-green coloured eyes while I had the candida are now bright British Racing Green. My complexion and skin tone was bad before, now its perfect. Balance is back, no muscle weakness, no symptoms of any illness at all.
If you do try this, be prepared to suffer, because it is extremly hard on the body. I tried it several times in total and only succeeded twice, and then screwing up immediately after by going back to carbs. That was 15 years, and its such a terrible experience that I havent done it since then.
Thats how bad it is.
