For sleeplessness, I'm so much of a lightweight that last week, I fell asleep 30 minutes after eating a turkey sandwich! The Tryptohphan kicks right in!
Ha! Same with Chamomile - I'm out cold in 20 minutes.
I recently have been drinking Tulsi Raspberry-Peach Tea at night, and wondered why within MINUTES, I couldn't keep my eyes open. All it said was that Tulsi - Holy Basil - made you de-stress and was calming. Didn't say that it caused sleepiness, but it does me!
I've also had good luck with magnesium - in liquid form (Cal-Mag); or in the fizzy drink "Calm".
Don't know if ANY of these would help you, but they really work for me.
Also, I've taken the mushroom blend, "Cordyceps" and notice when I take that any time during the day, it makes my sleep sound at night.
