I feel it getting closer every day; the gurgling and such has become incessant. There has been gas and I feel the obvious sensations of movement. It is times like these that I ponder an enema experiment, but I probably never will simply because the research shows downsides, and this makes it unappealing to me.
I would love some ”intestinal relief” right now though. It's not horrible, just not pleasant.
You might possibly be able to stimulate some movement by deep massaging the area.
My previous longest fast was 21 days, so I have reached new territory. The goal has been 'completion' and I have no immediate plans to break the fast as of yet.
Always exciting to encounter the unknown. Completion would be awesome, i really hope you reach it as it is such a rarity these days. Would love to hear another completion story with all the exciting details :,).
It it's interesting to note that I began this fast nearly the same weight as I began my 21 day fast, yet it is dramatically clear to me that I have lost less fat up to this point (2 days longer) than I did on that first long fast. Why?
If you will permit some mindless speculation... I know you did "21 and done" about 18 months ago and that you planned on implementing some healthful habits thereafter, but i don't know how much different your diet had been in leading to that fast as compared to this one. My first hypothesis would be that what you lost more of 18 months ago as compared to this time (rather than actual fat) was water from a higher sodium and/or higher refined sugar diet both of which would have led to greater water retention at the time. If we are retaining 5 or 10 extra pounds of water, it is very hard to visually distinguish it from fat.
