Looks like a lot of drugs you tried. You already tried tinidazole as well as doxycycline separately to no avail. Dr. Cahill recommended paromomycin and doxy. You said "in my case tinidazole followed by paramomycin." but later contradicted yourself and said "I did take the doxy w/ the paramomycin per Dr. Cahill's recommendation." Which exactly did you do?

Here is a question: would you have been able to obtain the tinidazole and paromocycin prescription were it not for the diagnosis provided by Dr. Cahill? Were other doctors unwilling to prescribe these to you?

Why did the gastrointestinal specialist at cleveland clinic not see the bleeding in your colon?

Most definitely did try a lot of drugs! When I initially took Tinidazole, it did provide relief for a bit but my symptoms came back after finishing the meds. Metronidazole together with iodoquonol provided the most relief of all the meds I previously tried. In fact, had I taken metronidazole first followed by iodoquonol (opposed to together... What I did) it may have eradicated EH in hindsight. There was definitely some fighting going on in my intestines during that protocol, similar to what happened with the protocol I took to finally eradicate EH.

I don't believe I contradicted myself. Dr. Cahill prescribed a lower dosage of Paromomycin 3 times a day and Doxyxycline 2 times a day both for 10 days. I took both of those meds in my protocol but I took tinidazole first for 5 days (tissue drug) followed by a much higher dosage of Paromomycin 3 times a day for 10 days and Dr. Cahill's prescription of Doxyxycline 2 times a day for those same 10 days. After 15 days, I finished with albendazole and quinacrine for 5 days, just to make sure if anything was still alive (cryptic giardia even though I've never tested for it) it wouldn't have a chance of living.

I have doctors in my family that were able to prescribe me the correct dosage of all the meds. I still have some left over and a bunch of refills, not that I'll ever need them again.

The GI docs at Cleveland Clinic never did a colonoscopy. I had one do e at Cedars Sinai a few months prior, with biopsy, and brought those records with me to the clinic. To answer your question, blood never showed up in my colon during that procedure. It could be because, as you probably know, you are totally cleared out before a colonoscopy while with Dr. Cahill's sigmoidoscopy, you don't clean out your bowels.
