Honestly, I do think it's a big deal. I had little to no Candida symptoms after I adapted a healthy Diet and antifungals the beginning of last year. Then I went on Antibiotics for only THREE days and it knocked me back x100 worse. AND I took a 50 billion count of refrigerated probiotics alongside with it, plus thereafter. I am now sicker than I've ever been, and have not been able to adverse the damage this time around. That small Antibiotic course was last year of September.
I'm not trying to scare the OP, but I would steer clear of Antibiotics . UTI's are SO common, especially in those with Candida issues. Antibiotics are not as necessary for UTI's as people make them seem. I recently had a (VERY PAINFUL/couldn't sleep) UTI that came and went in a few days just by drinking lots and LOTS of water and also drinking Bentonite a few times. Also garlic is a natural antibiotic. It has been shown to have a similar activity as prescription antibiotics like penicillin, but without all the negative side effects.
