Food combining is excellent because it minimizes fermentation and putrefaction, whilst simultaneously maximizing digestion and the absorption of nutrients.
The post fast period is as long as the fast itself, if not slightly longer to recover fully.
Please bear in mind that the fast is only a catalyst for the body in allowing it to self-heal and detox; this will continue post-fast if the body is provided with its physiological needs, and as it dictates.
