I am Type B, and I can tell you that, personally, after coming off of "Paleo" after being on it for nearly 5 years, my adrenals are crapped out!
I am now turning to the Eat Right For Your Type to see how I feel.
I'm exploring, but personally, after being a "Paleo Believer", I am now convinced that too low-carb for this Type B was doing more harm than good.
My Testosterone and Cortisol are through the roof (I'm female), my liver, gallbladder, pancreas & kidneys are struggling. I have a parasite in my gut, leaky gut, Mercury & Arsenic poisoning...geez, what else? ;-P
Anyway, the one thing that Paleo did for me, was to completely crash my adrenals. For being a tall, thin woman my entire life to now not being able to lose 10 lbs to save my life, was a real eye opener.
I am now eating gluten-free oatmeal, brown rice, yams, natural Sugar (molasses, honey, Grade B Maple Syrup), etc and my sex drive returned, my energy returned and my temperature soars after eating a carby/ sugary food.
I am now cleansing and doing Urine Therapy (I know, I thought it was DISGUSTING too, but don't knock it until you try it - It's AMAZING!).
