I've been drinking a brew from dandelion roots for 10 days now with very positive effect. I just don’t seem to be reacting to foods the way I usually do. I can’t quite believe it. I’m trying not to get too excited. As we all know, there are so many false alarms. Time will tell. BM’s are also getting better all the time. Much more energy. I had eczema on my eyes and legs since Xmas (never had before) and that is going.
I clean and cut up and boil the roots for ½ hour, strain and drink the “coffee”. It has a distinct taste of coffee, even unroasted. I have been drinking 2/3 glasses a day. I’ve also started adding the leaves to a salad. At the beginning I got a slight headache (which went quickly) and spacey feeling. I dropped to 2 glasses. It’s difficult to collect the roots. I use a long knife and cut a circle. Hard to clean too!
I see you can buy dandelion tincture and I think I will buy that when I am next in town
