Hey 'grandoptimist'. It is really nice to know that you are preparing for this fast to join our little group. Keep up the great work in the prepping. What I will do is from Saturday to Monday afternoon is eat salad, bananas, and pitted dates. I've been stacking up on sparkling and distilled water.
The amazing thing I realized was that yesterday was the first time I had regular sparkling water with my meal. My friend took me out for a chili sandwich and usually I would go for a can of coke. The waitress asked me what I wanted while she was in front of the fridge and I surprisingly chose the blue can with the regular unflavored seltzer water. It actually balanced out all flavors really well.
As far as exercise, yeah, light walking will have to do. During my 13 day fast I got up at around 4am and walked until about 6. As soon as I took a rest in my room, my body felt as though I had been through a rigorous workout.
