Re: Hemophilia?

There really isn't anything natural that can help. The blood is missing clotting factors either factor VII or IX. Of all the bleeding disorders, hemophilia is on the worst end of the spectrum. However, there are now several really good clotting factors that are available that help control and stop bleeds.

My husband and daughter have Von Wilebrands Type 2B which is a bleeding disorder too. Theirs just isn't as bad as hemophilia. Over the years I've tried to find a natural remedy for his nose bleeds, but I've found nothing that really works. My husband is prone to nosebleeds and we've discovered that the nose spray Nostrilla will actually help keep the clot from breaking up. He hasn't had to go to the ER for clotting factor in years. He gets a couple of bad nosebleeds every winter. My daughter uses the Nostrilla to help lighten her menstural flow. She can even take aleeve for cramps and not have her already heavy flow become heavier.

Nostrilla may work on some of the less severe forms of hemophila, but I'm not sure.
