Here is what I can offer... it helped me, and when I am asked, I share it with those who are suffering. It helps them... they have told me that it really does make a difference. When I stay away from all things that are carbs, I am almost hot flash free. Within 20 minutes of consuming ANY carb... a candy, a piece of bread, a bire of rice... I can almost count the minutes, like clockwork... it is hotflash time. When I stay away from the carbs and eat veggies, some fruits( not often and only berries and low carb fruits like cantalope) and lean meats, I am almost hotflash free. Toxin buildup is also a factor... so keep your body away from those things. Weight gain also makes a difference, so try to get your mother on an exercise routine. This helps A LOT. Sauna as much a possible, and get outside in the fresh air and sunlight.
