Do we think that poor vision is a result of poor health or poor habits?
In most people it is probably both. Admittedly they are related.

However, I don't think that perfect health will always result in perfect vision, nor do I think that all people with terrible health will have bad vision.

My opinion is that the Bates method does correct the source of the problem in most cases. And a permanent solution, even if that means continuing the exercises some. But cleansing can assist the process.

Depends on what we think the problem is!!!

To me, it's like a person who slumps all the time thinking that improving their diet will make their sore back feel better, or that they will stand up straight if they do some cleansing. No, the person needs to stand up straight on their own and maybe do some bodily exercises. Then their back won't hurt. It's a muscular habitual problem - and that's how I view poor eyesight. (Obviously other eye conditions like cataracts, pinkeye, etc. are purely health related, that's different).
