I am so sorry, that Dr sounds like a total jerk, so glad you aren't seeing him anymore. The thing with Mirena is that is is affecting a lot of women from teens to women who are of menopause age. I am glad you figured out so quickly that it is not a good birth control choice for you, my 22 yr old daughter had it for 2 years and it got worse over time, and of course the Dr's all kept saying it couldn't be the Mirena causing all her problems. You might call around and try some other Drs and/or clinics and see if they will take it out, and if that's not an option hang til your appointment. Hang in there and keep us posted. ps - I was a teen mom too and I remember Dr's talking down to me like I was an idiot. You can't let them affect you, hold your head up and stand up for yourself!
