First if we sell our house we can afford to buy a small place without a mortgage to tie us down!
Second we want our children in a cleaner environment. The smog here is BAD to say the least, then there is chemtrails, but I guess theres no getting away from those!

The homeschool laws in Alaska are great, There are none!

We want a place we can grow alot of our food! here it is so dry and hot you have to water more than we can afford, but we still try!

We where thinking somewhere with a milder climate like mat-su so we can grow lots of fruit trees and berries! Was there any fruit trees you could grow in the interior?

Here we have so many bills, it would at least be nice to have our oun well (distiller in hand of course) and be more self sufficient.

We would consider living in the bush, our main concern is what we can still grow and my husbands ability to work. He plans on working from home doing cabinet making ect. or whatever he can.
He has been assured of lots of work in the Mat-su area.

Something I am not sure if you are aware of, the house market has doubled in price in the last 2 years!

If you have any recommendations of other places to live feel free, we are not yet set in stone just looking for the place that still has the most freedom to offer!
Thanks for your time Trapper!

P.S. Alaska also voted out the "patriot act" does that say something about Alaskans?
