I am really quite confused regarding fibre. You say to stay away from soluble fibre.
Soluble fibre apparently has a protective mechanism for the gut as it forms a glupey substance when it absorbs water. In one post you posted, it also said that it feeds the beneficial bacteria in the colon (and not the harmful).

The above link says to avoid insoluble fibre and stick to soluble, the opposite of what you proposed before.

Could you please clear my confusion up?
