Re: Impressive Film called Food Matters

Interesting - yes.   I was raised in the country - know how to do that stuff - but do not live there anymore.   I gutted my share of deer, rabbit, and fish... even a turtle or two.... not something I wish to do again either !!

Fruit is where it's at.... it is the perfect food if raised and harvested properly.    We have our eye on S. Florida (sister in law lives there).   No matter where you move there are problems... but S. TX has Mexico, and Calif. has $$$$$$$...... besides.. last time in Fla. I tasted the best OJ I have ever had... it was truely devine (a blend that included honeybells) - $8/gallon fresh from the local orchard.

We plan to raise our own oranges, mangos, papaya..... etc.. whatever we desire.    I venture we can grow most of what we need to eat....

Amazing how plans have changed....cannot wait to "retire" to my grove/garden.
