Well yes, I think that any of us who have seriously tried this practice will tell you that it definitely does work and makes your teeth super clean and your gums super healthy. Don't know why it works, I guess this study is saying it is due to the emulsification, not really sure if I understand completely. But yes it does work.

I have also realized that there are other ways to achieve the same effect of dental health without oil pulling and that is to make the body 100% healthy. As my health has started to reach optimal levels I have noticed my gums (originally red and bleeding) becoming strong and pink (no bleeding). It seems that there is something different happening with my saliva as now I only brush my teeth once a day and there is almost zero plaque build up on my teeth.
