Notice how your thoughts are affecting you right now. Your reasoning is sound and these are possible outcomes that would be really difficult. However when we think about catastrophies our body to some degree has to deal with the stress of those catastrophies as if they were happening. So
right now your hurting your body. The stress level comes down if we say to ourselves, "these are only possibilities and may never happen. Even if they happen, I will be alright, i won't like it, but it will pass." Your body can interpret your thoght as indicating that death is eminent and become really stressed. When we are stressed our thought process literally shuts down, and problem solving is impaired. Our conscience also becomes shut down.
So first calm yourself. Be with what is true right now, that you are sick, but that you could be better soon.
Identify all possible options for decreasing the dangers you face. Even the ones you feel are impossible. Then you id ways you can do the ones you can do and you try to do the least impossible. Cause often we think thing that are really difficult are impossible.
Ask yourself, If I was well and able to work would there be something unwelcome about that or something scary about that. Then deal with the answer to that question as a block to getting well.
There are some ways you could try to improve things with your mom, but you can't change her. After your calm, we can talk about that but right now, the problem is your stress level.
Without working through your feelings about God, staying calm with health issues is really tough. I hope we can talk further. I have been where you are and I do not take lightly how scary it can be.
