Then why is there almost a cult-like following to raw vegan?
If I may ask, what do u eat to help heal your body and to keep your body in balance?
Is the Body Ecology Diet or GAPS diet something to model...or do u have other suggestions? This is my current diet, but it needs tweaking:
meal 1: 4oz green juice (romaine, celery, spinach, cucumber, cilantro)
-1 brown rice cake that I top with a spread I make from 1 TB coconut butter and 2.5 Tbs brown rice protein powder (chocolate flavor)
meal 2: 4oz green juice
3oz baby carrots
3 jumbo soft boiled eggs
meal 3: Same as meal 1 (I might omit the rice cake)
meal 4: 4oz green juice
3oz chicken, turkey, or fish
1/2c steamed veggies (brocolli, cauliflower, spinach)
1/4c non-bean avocado/pea "hummus" that is used as a sauce
This is stir-fried in 1/2 TB VCO
I drink 3-4oz aloe at night.
Any tweaks or suggestions? Is organic almond butter ok? I was told to avoid it b/c of the possible mold content and mucus forming potential...?
