Re: my progress in treating goiter and breasts

Thanks for your interest. I mostly eat a low sodium, gluten free diet, with some meat but a lot of vegetables raw and cooked, soups, low in refined carbs. Try not to eat bread and to stay away from goitrogenic foods. Rarely I have some constipation [usually it is after eating bread]. Usually I move my bowels as soon as I get up in the morning, easily, soft and complete. Sometimes up to two more times during the day. I urinate fairly small amounts fairly often but that has been a little better lately. The main ting I drink is filtered water plus cup of green tea in the morning sometimes with chamomille. I am a heart patient and am not supposed to take in more than a quirt of fluids a day. If I do I get elevated bp sometimes. Also had some bladder control issues last Fall. Have that mostly better now but fear risking taking in too much liquid during day when I have to make my long commute to work and back and do a lot of running round in between. I have been on a low sodium diet for 20 years and think that may have contributed to my problems, but my bp goes up if I get too much sodium.
