A hefty dose is probably more like 200 mgs of Ubiquinol (which is stronger than regular Q10).
You don't really have to swish with iodine. It will absorb just as well by drinking it or even applying to your skin. But it's a great idea to supplement with it and don't forget the selenium to enhance the effect.
