TMAU and Age of Onset

Hello. I meant to post this here, but instead I had only posted it in the Body Odor forum. Sorry for the two separate posts. I just had a question regarding trimethylaminuria and the age of onset. I only began to notice something going on odor-wise at the age of eighteen or nineteen, and there was never any concerns of Body Odor before then. Would this suggest that, if I do in fact have TMAU, it would be secondary TMAU? I always thought that primary TMAU tends to show up a little earlier, such as during childhood or puberty (if it means anything, puberty began around the age of eleven for me). Thanks! Tweet
