Magnesium calms the nervous system and therefore you will produce less cortisol.

Transdermal magnesium oil works the best since it bypasses digestion problems and loose stools.

Just don't go overboard.

And of course lots and lots of mediation. twice per day.

You may also want to try the Healing Codes. Several of us, who were skeptical at first, have noticed emotional benefits, which means it is calming the nervous system...and likely lowering cortisol.

As I have learned...It's not all about the supplements.
