about Ahmedinijad, all people in the west know is what they see on MSM. I think by now we all should know that you can't trust MSM, and that we are fed a steady diet of misinformation and outright lies. Ahmedinijad is demonized in the west, and that alone should make you wonder why. If you listen to his interviews and speeches, he says some very reasonable things (avoid certain translations which are deliberately sabatoged to sound awful). He certainly sounds a lot more reasonable than U.S. politicians.

regarding the protests in Iran and Syria... I withold judgment on that because I can't tell first hand exactly what is happening. Like in Libya, there are signs that outsiders are deliberately instigating violence and instability, to effect a take over. lets think for two seconds about the entities that might have a motive to do that. In time, things should get clearer. until then, why would we close our ears to another's viewpoint based solely on the characature fed to us by MSM. if anything, that should make you want to dig further to find out what really might be going on.
