+edit Re: Uny,Willow,Water please Help...Cancer

Greetings!

I almost never post because I don't want to trouble someone with info that i should be researching and learning anyway. But I need your help. My grandma has been diagnosed with Non hodgkins Folicular Lymphoma, with the main tumor on her aeortic nerve(or is it vessle, I hate doctor terminolog if your sick just get better naturally don't name it) right before it enters the intestines. I'm sorry to hear all of this!  We'll both do our best to help her, I'm sure! She was admitted to the hospital and has been in there now 3 weeks, I have been telling her about juicing and she is intrested if her doctor will ok it. I am calling her Doc tommorow who knows how that will go. Okay, first things first...while she's in the hospital and hasn't had the time to watch the DVDs that will help her make the right decisions (and know she HAS a choice!), don't "get into it" with her doctor...there's plenty of time for that later (if needed).  Just tell him (something like): "I'm a health-food nut and I know fresh juices are high in nutrition.  Grandma just wanted me to check to make sure it's okay if I make her some juice everyday"...get his clearance and 'cya-bye' (as far as the juicing).   Anyhow She has 1 session of Chemo..... It makes me sick to think about it. I dispise what doctors do, or rather don't do when there is so much one could do to heal, and all they do is cover there legal butt.  Yep, it's sickening AND infuriating about a zillion different ways.

Sorry I have alot of anger that I am trying to EFT on but I think I have come to the realization that I will always dispise doctors... It's okay to have righteous anger where angers belongs.  Righteous = right-use-ness ...just be sure to use it rightly :)

The Chemo almost did her in, Her lungs have been filling up with fluid. They say the Lymphoma has spread to the lungs which is why they are filling up.So they did surgery to put a tube in to drain the fluid.  I know neither of us "like it", but they had to get the fluid off her lungs, and that's the only way they know how to do it :(

The cancer has spread according to all of there stupid cat scans and xrays that are just making things worse... To her bone marrow. Okay, I'm sure you know that's not such great news.  Be SURE to ask her doctor tomorrow what her prognosis is ...with or without chemo/radiation (or whatever they're going to try).  The word "prognosis" is doctor-speak for: how do expect the disease to progress and how long does she have to live.    I know how hard it is to ask that, and to hear the response (I used to work at a Hospice, so I really do understand), but you need to be sure and ask - and demand a 'straight answer'.

She was not going (poop) so they tried a water enema and nothing was coming out. They found she has part blockage due. So her stomach became destended and she had to have another tube put in to drain her stomach...Also while you're talking to the doc, ask if they're planning on sending her home with the tubes (either or both), and are they planning on sending her home with the partial blockage (or are they planning on doing surgery to remove the blockage).  Also find out exactly where the blockage is...if you don't understand his terminology, have him explain it in terms you CAN understand (and write it down if you can't remember the place/words...that's something we'll need to know so we can work on it).

Dur to all of this stress on her body she was having trouble breathing and caught phenomina and ended up in the ICU. Awwwh, be sure to give her my love.  Frustratingly, the hospital is 'the place' for picking up all the bugs...especially with the stress & weakness.

She is now out of the ICU and they just cleared her for eating agian. But she is afraid to eat and start the vicious cycle all over agian.  I understand - it's natural to "go off foods" when we're sick...especially to do off "hospital food".

I want to start bringing her juices in the hospital. Great!  And that's EXACTLY what you should do!  And she'll feel much more confident about 'eating' when she's 'eating' juices.  I know I need to do alot and it is hard ina hospital setting. Do your best to pretend you're at home with you, and if anybody 'gets in your way', respond in the same way you would when you're at home.  Be polite, but do what you're going to do anyway.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Juice up as much as you think she can drink and put it in canning jar (or jars she can open for when you're not there), and put them in a cooler beside her bed.   I am thinking of sneaking Ecchinacea in the juice. YES!!!  I'd be taking a minimum of 3 Tablespoons daily, so don't hesitate to 'sneak aplenty'.   What else should I add that can help her to get stable to get out of the hospital so I can do the full IP with her.  The Bee Pollen is a wonderful addition, as is the Superfood...and if you can find it locally, add a bit of Slippery Elm Bark powder to every juice. And/or take a teaspoon of Slippery Elm powder and mix it in one-two cups of juice and make a kind of a pudding/porridge.  Slippery Elm is very high in nutrition and is very soothing/healing in many ways.

I have on hand IF1, IF2, Superfood Ecchinacea, Herbal Calcium, alittle bit of BF&C oil, Milk thistle Seed pwd from PB and some bee pollen.

I am going to order the DVDs and some other things very soon. PLEASE help me get her started on the right path. I am off to go read more old posts from UNY.

We are going to be out of town all day tomorrow (we're leaving fairly early), but we can get a few things on the way if we have your order by the time we wake up.  I suggest (for now): DVD's - Dr. Schulzes Original Incurables Program; 8-16 oz of Echinacea tincture; Superfood; 1/2 pound of Slippery Elm bark powder; and (4 each) of the Immune tea (a VERY strong anti-viral/cancer blend that you can make and mix into her juices).  It tastes terrible, but it's very important)...and of course, add in a clove (or partial clove)of garlic to the juices whenever you can.

I won't be home until very late tomorrow night (Thursday), but I'll get back to you as soon as I'm back at the computer!

Blessings,

Uny
