I am very disappointed to read this thread and very sorry to hear that Dom is not well.
I can only refer to my own experiences:
I ordered and paid for kefir after some emails with Dom in about November 2010. I live in Italy but when the kefir did not arrive in about 12 weeks I made the not unreasonable assumption that it had been stopped by Italian Customs. It is not the first time parcels sent from Australia have never arrived.
I then made arrangements with Dom to send me replacements by International Express Post (handled here by DHL) I only paid for the courier charge and Dom included a couple of extra items without charge. In other words I was not charged for the replacement for the missing items.
The reason I chose this method of shipping is that it is trackable and the courier has the responsibility for customs clearance. If there is any problem they would have contacted me. With ordinary post not only is it impossible to track but it can easily be stolen or the customs service can reject it and you would never know.
The parcel was shipped about a week later and arrived in about another week.
All told I can only say that my experience with Dom was good.
In addition I must say that following this I have only received some emails from his wife immediately following the receipt of the package. After that I have not received any email replies. I can only assume it is true that Dom is not well
