"stuck in a rut" on "MILK"?...move on to solid food. EDITED

A "more excellent" (better, 1 Corin. 12:31) devotion is based on "the GREATEST of these" (1 Corin. 13:13).....love for GOD, not man also ("For God is not so unjust...", Hebrews 6).

The following verses are the three mentions of "solid food" in the RSV. The Hebrew Christians had not learned the principles of being Godly because they were brought up under the sin doctrine of Moses and only had an understanding of rituals, etc. (partisan protocol), so they were not ready to understand the deep truths of Jesus as being the FINAL and eternal sin sacrifice (doctrine of Christ).

1 Corinthians 3:2
"I fed you with milk, not solid food; for you were not ready for it; and even yet you are not ready".

Hebrews 5:12
"For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need some one to teach you again the first principles of God's word. You need milk, not solid food".

Hebrews 5:14
"But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their faculties trained by practice to distinguish good from evil".

The "depths of God" (1 Corin. 2:10) can only be understood by moving on from "milk" to "solid food" and having a "MATURE" RELATIONSHIP DEVOTION with Jesus so that JESUS is our ONLY foundation,....meaning we should no longer have a REPENTANCE FOUNDATION performing righteous deeds (self-effort "works") in order to be holy. We cannot cause 'spiritual cleansing' nor can we "cause" WORTHINESS (don't belittle or negate God's graciousness, we are "vessels of MERCY"/grace, Romans chap. 9).

We've all learned of THE TRUTH ("doctrine of Christ" gospel) and that Jesus is the ONLY foundation for spiritual cleanliness (the ONE AND ONLY eternal "sin sacrifice"), so if we revert to having a "repentance foundation" instead of the 'JESUS FOUNDATION', we "DELIBERATELY" become a transgressor under the sin doctrine law of Moses and 'forgiveness of sin' (spiritual cleanliness) becomes an IMPOSSIBILITY.

Hebrews 10:26
"For if we SIN DELIBERATELY....AFTER RECEIVING the knowledge...".....there is NO LONGER any means of forgiveness.

Hebrews chapter 6 is saying the same thing that it is impossible to again be restored to spiritual cleanliness if we choose the "sin doctrine" repentance foundation.

This is what the solid food "depths of God" are like (a deeper understanding) and why we should not have a simple 'believing faith' "TOWARD" God, we should have a "FAITH FOR FAITH" (Romans 1:17).

Everything I just wrote is NOT TAUGHT in churches, commentaries, nor taught or even understood by scholars, pastors/ministers, it is up to YOU to move on ("go ahead") to a MATURE devotion/relationship so you can also have the "better things that belong to salvation" (Hebrews 6).

So if you're stuck in a rut, move on to a mature LOVE RELATIONSHIP DEVOTION and let GOD be your spiritual teacher, not man (and your devotional love shall be for GOD ONLY, not man,...do not glorify man "For God is not so unjust....").

John 4:23......worship shall no longer be done PHYSICALLY (like on the holy mountain or in Jerusalem temples), but worship shall now be SPIRITUAL instead (heart/mind/soul/conscience)....

"be transformed by the renewal of the MIND" (Romans 12:2).


....No buildings, pastors/ministers, books.....do you need to be commanded/ordered to do good like the ancient Hebrews needed to?.

JESUS is the new worship temple (John 2:19, the outer temple 1 Corin. 6:19). Tweet
