quick question - diet for bacterial overgr + adrenal fatigue
Hi,
I'm having a hard time deciding what the optimal diet would be for me right now. I have an overgrowth of Klebsiella in my body (causes symptoms similar to Candida), adrenal fatigue, and subclinical hypothyroidism. Right now, I eat a diet of cooked vegetables, meat, and grains. I will sometimes make smoothies of fruit and vegetables with not too much fruit (in a Vitamix as I do not have a juicer yet) I try to eat gluten and dairy free.
I have trouble with whole grains and grains in general - they make me quite tired, gives me anxiety, and makes my brain feel foggy - and also gives me joint pain. Anything high in
Sugar (including fruits) gives me quite a bit of gas and also worsens some of my symptoms - probably from the fermentation.
I have not tried going vegetarian or anythings - it seems like when I eat meals without meat - it tends to digest the carbs more quickly (even when I eat a lot of vegetables with the meal) and cause more fermentation. I also do not do well with fasting or low carbing. I'm not sure if I should continue eating grains - but I need a source of carbs and fruits are not the best idea right now with the bacterial overgrowth.
Any suggestions? Thanks
