Paul spoke against "SECTAS Perditionis" ("AS" is the latin PLURAL "of", there is more than one "sect" mentioned in scripture).

You can see from the next verse that the Jews that accepted Jesus as the promised Messiah wanted a name of their own.

Acts 11:26.........(the 2nd half of the verse)....

"and in Antioch, the disciples were first called Christians".

This very obviously means that Jesus worshipers were called by a different name before the incident at Antioch....

............................BUT,...........................

......we have been 'TRAINED' to ignore this verse (and MANY OTHERS)....AND WE OBEY because we believe that we are supposed to be 'good puppets'/soldiers who 'FOLLOW' without question (but also because we ENJOY 'marching', EGO, VAIN pride). We have been taught that we will only do what is right if we are ordered/commanded to (unfortunately, for many people this is true,......is it true for YOU?).

So, the truth is.......

....we now belong specifically to the CATHOLIC sect or overall to the "Christian" sect (the "woman" that nurtures the "church" shrine).

Paul told the Athenians that God is not found in shrines NOR is He served by human efforts/deeds.

Acts 17:24

"does not live in shrines made by man, nor is He served by human hands".

Jesus said that worship/devotion shall no longer be PHYSICAL, it shall be SPIRITUAL (it shall be done TRULY "in SPIRIT").

...neither "ON" the holy mountain nor in 'Jerusalem temples'.....(John4:23, "TRUE worshiper"),

Worship/devotion shall be "done"/performed by having "LIVING water" flowing from the heart (If you can manage to have 'tears' of sorrow instead of fake/forced compassion, John 7:38).

"But when you pray, go into YOUR ROOM and SHUT THE DOOR" (your homage to The Lord should be PRIVATE/secret).

"The faith that you have.....keep it between yourself and God".

...so that GOD" (not pastors, scholars, etc.) may be everything" SPIRITUAL to EACH of us.

"The "woman" in Revelation is THE PHYSICAL CHURCH (whether Catholic or Protestant).

..........................................."Come out of her, my people".
