I plan on starting the Master-Cleanse on April 30 and am both nervous and excited. I am running a marathon on April 25 and I don't want to do anything different before the marathon. My chiropractor indicated that I might make sure day three is on the weekend so I can avoid people if the smell is too bothersome to me. She says she can smell meat on someone a mile away on day three and its disgusting. So I am starting on a Friday and will have the weekend to settle into the fast.
A couple of questions:
1. I want to continue to run between 3-7 miles a day. Does anyone have any feedback on the feasibility of this plan given the change in diet? I currently run this amount daily.
2. What are the biggest hurdles to the fast and how did you manage them?
3. Did you experience unusual irritability? (I don't want to make people hate me!)
