Turmeric is good, but you should combine it with ground cloves, ginger, cayenne, and garlic for even more effectiveness. Try a teaspoon of turmeric, a half a teaspoon of griound cloves, a half a teaspoon of ginger, and 1/4 of a teaspoon of cayenne(increase the cayenne over time as you get used to it). for garlic, you could chew a clove of raw garlic for greatest effectiveness, but if you can't tolerate it, try using the much less potent garlic powder.
