My Daughter and Grandchildren, have had the vaccinations that are suggested for children in the early years of their lives. (This is what I mean by fully vaccinated.) They do not have flu vaccinations, as my Daughter does not think this necessary, and I agree with her.
I didn't receive any vaccinations at all, until I was almost 8 years old, after which time, I received polio, smallpox, and tetanus vaccines. When I was a teenager, I received rubella vaccine, and had a tetanus booster vaccine.
I also do not have flu vaccines at all, as I do not think that the benefits outweigh the risks, particularly with small children.
I have looked at the benefit vs risk with all vaccines, and with some of the newer vaccines, the risk is still too high. I have always held the stance of applying critical thinking to any decision, as well as taking an objective approach, rather than an emotional one.
