Re: Near Infrared Sauna

i disagree with both points made.

first off, i would recommend a FIR, Far Infrared Sauna , not near infrared that dr. wilson recommends. he claims that the light frequency of the near infrared is what initiates healing. that may be so, but i have tried both and there is nothing like sweating to help you heal.

doing a FIR (Far-Infrared-Sauna) sauna, or a near infrared sauna, or any other kind of sauna incorrectly with AF will be your worst nightmare. doing it correctly will be one of the best things you can do for yourself.

first you must be properly hydrated to prime yourself to be ready to sweat. if you have not been taking in enough electolyte fluids it will be a bad experience. this is very important, you can't just drink water -- it has to be electtrolytes and fluid. if you take lots of broths, juices, or mineral rich liquids that your body likes before the saunas you will be much better off.

second, never overdo saunas, as soon as you feel uncomfortable, get out. especially with AF. if you gradually increase your time in it over the course of weeks or months it should be fine.

third, as soon as you stop sweating, get out of the sauna, never push those limits if you are severely ill.

getting overheated and not sweating with AF is a horrible experience that results in stirring up toxins without releasing them. heating the body up gently and sweating is what you want. the FIR (Far-Infrared-Sauna) saunas are great at this and do exactly what they advertise, you will be able to expel toxins, heavy metals gently through the skin without taxing your internal organs.

and the point about it being hard to replace sodium with AF is nonsense. all you have to do is sprinkle a bit more salt into your food, or a lot more, as your body requires. this is not rocket science. or you can take raw milk, dairy products, cheese, Celery juice, rock salt, Sea Salt .

taking hot baths can be just as bad as taking saunas incorrectly if you don't sweat, and add to that the fact that you will be absorbing chlorine and fluoride from the water if you are in the U.S. if you want to take baths then add in some Iodine or borax to neutralize the fluoride, salt to strengthen you, Epsom Salts for mild detox and some vit c powder to neutralize heavy metals in the water. or get a very good water filter. people have no idea how polluted the water is in the U.S.

do you remember how good it felt to exercise and sweat profusely before you got ill? FIR (Far-Infrared-Sauna) saunas allow you to experience this again without stressing yourself out with the vigorous exercise. ask yourself how long it has been since you were sweating properly.

if you aren't going to make the commitment to hydrate properly don't mess around with any type of sauna
