A few 'thinks & thoughts' for consideration...Re: Uny, Warfarin,or whatever it is. Blood thinner questions

Good morning!

Here's a few thoughts you might be able to put to useful use:

>>>I know they are checking all this, every morning, so, maybe they are already adjusting the dose <<<

--The only thing you know is that you *think* they are doing their job correctly, and maybe they are adjusting the dose...but the truth is that medical errors are VERY common, and it's up to US to be SURE they are doing their job if we don't want to become a statistic. Please don't trust they're doing anything they're supposed to be doing...check it for yourself.

>>> He vomited this AM, after being stressed by a nurse telling him he could not have fresh water until 9:00 am. After which he spoke to the nurse manager.<<<

--Take a cooler to the room with bottles of fresh healthy water - a small cooler could even be placed where he can reach it.

>>> To be honest, it's the blood thinners that scared me most--<<<

--That fear is rational & natural and not to be ignored. Spend whatever 'computer time' you have today familiarizing yourself with the terminology of PT and INR test results for Warfarin (Coumadin, same thing). Then lay hands upon his chart and check the results...and consult with his physician to find what the 'goal range' is supposed to be. Then let 'them' know (by action & words) that you're taking an active interest and you want to see the daily levels. (Ooopsy, just got to the bottom of your post and see that you're already planning on talking with the doctor...GREAT!)

>>>One the whole, these people operate on way too little sleep, and themselves seem to be blasted, half the time.<<<

--Most are overworked, underpaid and seriously undereducated. Treat them like the zombies they are (with love, of course).

>>> I don't think he's 'onboard' enough to agree with me to cut the blood thinners. That's way too demanding of breaking away--and he's gone at least half the time, can't stop himself from slipping away. He's too much 'in their hands', and not enough into Natural Healing... I'd been trying for ages to get him inspired to do liver flushing, but he's been over-extended for a long time. Running on empty.<<<

--I understand everything is 'his call' and he's making the calls based on his current level of knowledge and own belief system (and that he's "altered" due to the chemicals, particularly the morphine/pain killers). Do the best you can do...and be making your plans as to how you'll best utilize this situation to ensure he learns what he needs to learn when he is released.

My thinking? In every relationship each person holds a few 'trump cards'. We should use them wisely, and now (after his release) is the perfect opportunity for you to use the 'love & respect' trump card. If this were my partner, when he got home I'd be pulling it out out of my hand and insisting that he respect & love me enough (both "me now" and "the future of me") to take the time to watch the SYL videos, and then the Natural Healing Crusade videos, and then read the SYL manual (either side-by-side with me, or by himself...and yes honey, there WILL be a test! lol).

After that, you can both 'enter into negotiations' about how to handle health issues in the future...and make these crucial decisions before another incident leaves either one of you 'in a similar situation'.

Of course I realize you've got a lot happening now, but 'the above' is just a tickler to get you started thinking & planning about how you are going to avoid similar situations in the future.

>>>Z finds blueberries to be extremely healing. So, I give him those. And he's thinking of a good blueberry lassi. Does not want garlic. Or my juice mixes which feel too strong for him. I am thinking maybe a Celery and apple...And he's been hungry, eating the hospital food. Feels he needs the 'energy'. Eating fish and vegetables. Fruit...it's not too too bad.<<<

The absolute best diet for him now would be juices, superfood, slippery elm 'pudding' & bee pollen. Blueberries are wonderful (of course...as are all fresh juices)...but hospital food is not. Do your best to keep him filled-up on juices. And also do your best to remember you're dealing with someone who IS altered by very strong chemicals...which negatively impacts his discernment strongly. (I'm not saying to not listen & 'hear' what he is saying, just be sure not to 'trust in it' the way you would if he weren't chemically altered).

>>>He knows about the cayenne--but I'm not going to be there all the time. Is tincture the best? Does it do anything to antagonize the blood thinner? Tincture must be the easiest.<<<

Tincture is definitely the easiest - no one has the time to be mixing powder & water if there's a hemorrhage situation.

Most believe cayenne to be a "blood thinner", which makes absolutely no sense to me when it consistently stops bleeding. I wouldn't advise 'sneaking it in' with the Warfarin as a daily thing, but I would definitely advise having it 'at the ready'. And I also advise that you two discuss it, so that you're both clear that if there is a hemorrhage, you are both in agreement on what action to take.

(According to the Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database --the "bible" for herbal/drug interactions-- it gives a "moderate" warning for use of Cayenne with anti-platelet drugs. The reason? "Theoretically, capsicum might increase the effects and adverse effects of antiplatelet drugs"; the level of evidence is weak ("In vitro or animal study"). I checked both studies (one in vitro, one rats) and both used the isolated capsaicin from cayennes, NOT the whole cayenne and all it's cofactors).

>>>Hmm, it might help a lot with the cold lower legs, the lack of circulation. <<<

--Massage; foot reflexology and Deep Tissue Repair Oil (with Cayenne in it) would all be great.

>>>Normally, he's a hot water drinker. This is just another zone entirely. <<<

--That's even easier than a cooler. All you need is a Thermos (or two or three) and he'll have a comforting & healthy supply of hot water for sipping.

>>>I'm finding it hard to keep up with just water dosed daily with energy essences, which helps a lot, and whatever other things he needs, and coming and going from the Rehab.<<<

-- I know how hard it must be to 'keep up'...we're all sending our prayers, 'good energy' (and our strength & love) to you both. Make sure to take care of YOU, too (get plenty of juices and sneak in a warm bath now & then). And don't forget how refreshing & re-energizing it will be to get in a few minutes of barefooting! :)

It sounds like he's making good progress, and I'm glad to hear that you're 'laying on hands'...that should help with the spasms. Here's a very simple technique that you likely want to try: http://healingtools.tripod.com/heartech1.html

'Tis very simple, and Rick & I have found it to be a blessing in many ways.

Also, when you get 'garden time' - do your best to get at least one of his shoes off (preferably the foot with the injured leg, if only one), get his foot/feet on the ground, and let the earth suck out the unhealthy frequencies and his body suck up all the healing goodies. (The Earthing book showed quite conclusively how beneficial Earthing is for wound recovery)...and he can 'ground' on concrete (just not asphalt).

You're hangin' in there really good! I realize how draining (and frustrating, and scary, and, and, and...) it is when we're not in charge AND dealing with allopathic medicine. Just remember to 'take care of you, too' (and don't sweat the small stuff).

Blessings upon blessings -

Unyquity
