What you are experiencing is disseminated hyper-infestation. Proper care should have included medication with follow-up for 7-14 days or until the infection is cleared. Strongyloides, in the absence of eosinophilia, such as in long standing chronic infections, particularly in cases involving steroids/immunosuppression can be extremely difficult to treat and tends to be relapsing/remitting.
