Re: Aspartame in typhoid vaccines?

This is the leaflet that comes with the vaccine, and Aspartame is not listed in the ingredients. Nor is any warning given to those that may be allergic to aspartame.

We have very strict laws on labelling, and consumer information in Australia, and if this vaccine contained aspartame, and an allergic person had and adverse reaction to this oral vaccine, and was not warned of its presence, this would leave the drug company open to legal action, and investigation by the dept of consumer affairs, and the possibility of further legal action by the government.

This leads me to think that it is unlikely that this oral vaccine for typhoid, does contain aspartame, at least not in Australia.
