...have recently started purchasing
"better quality" kibble for the cats to nibble on
between their canned food meals.
The cheaper varieties of kibble are too full of really awful
stuff in addition to being mostly corn meal.
Corn is highly suspect due to Genetically-Modified-Organisms contamination..
so..lets go upscale a notch and pay around $3.00 a lb
for the Purina "one beyond" kibble..NO corn and better
ingredients. [at least the listed ingredients are less
scary than the cheaper stuff]
And the primary ingredient is chicken..got to be better
..meanwhile..back at Muppet Labs...baffled as to why the
kitty stools are so loaded with fibers. Everyone on
[multistage] filtered water..
air is significantly cleaner...
....and when kitty upchucks hairballs..the kibble
particles are ..covered in fibers..
?? kibble got nowhere near the intestines..visit the
stomach..and right back out..and covered with..fibers.
..something odd is going on.
take a closer look..and find that the kibble is full of
fibers...INSIDE the kibble..it leaves the Purina factory
that way. [not to be picking on Purina..a quick look
at the IAMS kibble is showing the same fibers..INSIDE the
...this is more than a little annoying. The big pet food
producers have folks on staff that are [allegedly] keeping an eye on the quality of what they are producing. You don't need a microscope to see the fibers. I started
noticing the fibers with unaided Mark 1 eyeball..using
the 30x loupe was..startling. You trying to tell me that
the "food research/QA" white coats at Purina are not aware
that their pet food is riddled with obvious translucent
fibers..that appear to be GROWING out of the kibble?
