No i dont actually, indicating a famine for your body before a fast seems pointless if getting rid of toxic fat is a purpose of the fast.
Also many people on here are first time fasters struggling with eating habits and fasting to try and reset these. Its far harder for them to go raw first and then fast as its the fast that makes them desire raw and resets their desire to natural foods.
So the issue is - how do you get from unhealthy to fasting to healthy SUCCESSFULLY
