remind me of what
parasite you are dealing with. these drug therapies are specific to the parasite, for instance certain strains of blasto are more vulnerable to flagyl/nita/furoxone while others are vulnerable to other combinations. It was considered that Flagyl was the gold standard among drugs but this is proving outdated.
There is reasonable evidence that
parasites can adapt to different drugs and I have read that taking Flagyl by itself may lead to resistance, so if your
parasite will not die off by flagyl itself and you need to use a combinational approach, then if you retry flagyl with the other drugs then it may not be effective. So if it were me, I would try a combinational approach first. And do pay attention to lumicidal drugs which appear necessary to kill all of the
parasites off. Lumicidals include Diloxinide Furoate, Iodoquinol (Yodoxin) and Furoxone.
