This 4 and a half minute video from youtube is from someone's channel called "W.O.N.". It was posted on the 21st, but the title says the quake happened on the 22nd. The USGS now lists the quake as happening exactly at 21:00 hours on the 21st. On Sunday, May 21, they reported it as happening at 21:17 (9:17 PM). They now list it as being a 5.9 magnitude, not a 6.1 magnitude.
The earlier report from the USGS website has been taken down and the youtube video from earlier that showed the USGS report of 21:17 was also removed.
This video shows the original USGS listing from the 21st in red highlights. Some web reports say that there was no quake at all in New Zealand on the 21st.
Sure, Camping's prediction was ridiculous, but that's besides the point that I am making. Many people are simply biased either pro or con, but what's the trouble with the USGS and others getting the story straight? (governments and media seem "hush hush" about any mistakes or reasons for a discrepancy).
Some "faith mockers" biased reporting might be to disprove Camping's ridiculous prediction and some people are zealous to support him, but why are governments and media not reporting a discrepancy of a dateline or time zone...although 21:17 (9:17 PM of the 21st) is hard to mistake for the MORNING of the twenty SECOND.
