Wow! I didn't know that was an anti-psychotic drug, but your symptoms sounded a lot like mine when I went to the ER before. They gave me something very similar, also an anti-psychotic. They didn't even tell me what they were giving me or why!
I went in there because I had food poisoning earlier that day and couldn't eat so I had the worst migraine from hypoglycemia. One of the alternative uses of the medication was to stop nausea which seems crazy that's what they would choose for it.
I agree it is absolutely the worst medication! It made me feel crazy and I don't normally have any mental issues like anxiety. It made me unable to stop moving, especially my legs but also my arms. I felt so afraid that I would roll over on the IV or accidentally pull it out. I can't believe the crazy things conventional doctors do thinking that they are somehow helping...
It was interesting to hear someone had a similar experience though. This is why I never went back to the ER after that experience and try to only see the conventional MD when necessary, usually I go to an ND instead.
