I couldn't tolerate any vit c for a long time! I am now able to take Lemonjuice (just a bit in the mornings) and a green apple maybe once/twice a week. I think the best thing is not to panic about getting too many supplements into you. Maybe concentrate on what you can have rather than what you can't. Now I'm working up very, very slowly with ascorbic acid powder. Tiny amounts! I have also found that adrenal supplements containing ascorbyl palmitate (fat-soluable Vit c) are helpful and not too reactive.
