there has been a lot of threads on the iodine supplementation forum about remineralizing teeth. it became a topic of discussion there due to the the focus on halogen imbalance the the fact that fluoride causes fluorosis - brown brittle teeth and bones. remember, your bones look like your teeth.
iodine supplementation is a good idea as well as avoidance of fluoride. there are things one can do to remineralize the teeth. the first thing is stop using toothpaste. it coats the teeth and prevents mineral rich saliva from ever reaching them.
second is to look at your mineral intake and boost that. MH(barefoot herbalist) makes a tooth powder that i have used to heal a cavity with before by putting it on my teeth and between my lips and gums and going to sleep with it in there. others have used IP6 but that made my teeth too sensitive.
