SO, when you take a heaping teaspoon (or a tablespoon) only 2/17ths of that teaspoon or tablespoon is actually the clay. Which means that in 5 teaspoons daily, you'd only be getting 10/17ths of a teaspoon of Bentonite clay in one day! Since you took tablespoons (the dose I usually take, by the way, since in the obscure writings of Schulze there is at least one case where he used tablespoon-sized doses), you'd only have ingested 1 3/4-ish teaspoons of Bentonite each day. Neither of those amounts of clay (especially when mixed with all the other ingredients) is going to cause you any harm in any way! YAY!!!
It's very common to need to increase the amount of IF#1 capsules when we start the IF#2. Remember, you should be drinking 8-16oz of water after each dose (that is part of the "dose" and doesn't have anything to do with the 1/2-1 gallon of pure water you're drinking daily.
Many of us mix our IF#2 in less than 8oz of juice, so if you want to you can do that...just be sure to get *plenty* of water with each dose.
Weight gain? Obviously a few ounces of IF#2 didn't add 'pounds of weight' to your body...but if/when we're dehydrated, our body starts retaining fluid. IF#2 can be very dehydrating, so it can cause us to retain fluid.
It may take a few weeks to totally rehydrate your body (we never can expect to undo decades worth of damage/compromise in a few weeks...but we can get rehydrated in a short time)...and when you've finished the first 30 day round of IF#2, you *will* have lost weight (I've never known anyone that didn't). Personally, I always drink WELL over a gallon of water daily (closer to two than one), and when I'm IF#2-ing, I always have that much *plus* the 8/16 oz after every dose.
"It's all about the flow, baby", and without the hydration our body needs, there's no flow at all.
