Magnesium glycinate was what I used and my pancreas began aching badly like it does when I eat carbs or too much protein.

I'm with you on anything with "glu" or "gly" in the name.

MSG, by the way, causes severely exaggerated insulin responses.

Can you feel your insulin pump out like I can? Sometimes it's an almost pleasurable sensation in the pancreatic area. If too much of a demand is placed from eating carbs or too much protein it hurts badly. I remember the first time I became aware of this at a restaurant when I was eating chips and salsa. I think I was about 10. I felt these pangs that weren't quite the same as hunger, and were just behind the stomach.

I wish I had known then what I know now though.
