Re: New to Barley grass juicing need advice.

I grow Guavas, Tomatoes, pomegranates, Black mission figs, avocados, Fuji apples, cucumbers, squash and 5 varieties of peppers.

I am kind of scared with the wheat because of the mold issue that I have never dealt with. Here is my plan-

I want to buy 50lbs. The lowest price I got was 75.00 dollars at organic places. That is a lot of money when I am going to grow quite a bit of it.

I am going to buy from : Honeyville grain http://honeyvillegrain.com/

If I can’t grow it I will grind it and eat it so it will not go to waste.

One 50lb bag of barley for 20.00
One 50lb bag of wheat for 19.00

Soil
Topsoil (one inch)
Sphagnum mixed with it.

Grow in Garage
Soak seed for 12 hrs. wait for them to start germination. (May add 1tsp. of sole Himalayan salt mix for minerals)
Spread seeds all over moist soil.
Wait for two to three days.
Take out in shade to grow outside
Cut and juice it.

Any feedback?

Thank you

Nick
